ROHM Services Corporation is a central support system for our family of 13 nursing facilities-12 in the Rochester, New York, area and one in Boca Raton, Florida.

Robert H. Hurlbut founded ROHM Services Corporation in 1964. As a tribute, he named his company in honor of his parents- Robert's Outstanding Harold and Martha. Having been surrounded by elderly people that his parents brought into their home to care for when they could no longer care for themselves, it became clear to him that he wanted to build upon the nurturing foundation his parents had so naturally, yet unknowingly, created for him.

While each ROHM home has its own personality and unique style, the commitment to caring for our residents with understanding, compassion, respect and kindness while ensuring their dignity and their safety is a commitment our caregivers in each ROHM home take very seriously.

Robert H. Hurlbut assumed the position of Chairman of ROHM Services in 1992 when, with great pride, he passed the title of President on to his son, Robert W. Hurlbut. In 1996, with equal pride, Christine Hurlbut-Bean was named Vice President of this third-generation, family-owned business by her father and her brother.

For more than 35 years, the ROHM homes have taken great pride in the superior level of care they have provided to so many people and continue to provide today.
